Ringo
leading the crowd in "Yellow Submarine", everyone feeling like a kid.
The guy in front making submarine sounds. And of course audience interaction
with "Hey Jude" and "Help with my Friends".
It
really was watching the Beatles in concert. Today in 2014. Paul chose very hard
core rock songs to perform, and he delivered!! Paul and Ringo both gave us
exactly as they were on the albums, exactly as they would have done in 1967.
Some
of the tributes were really good as well, particularly Joe Walsh doing
"While my Guitar Gently Weeps". Annie Lennox did an incredible job
with "Fool on the Hill", as if that were HER song...
Great
musical experience all around.
For
me it was quite a soulful experience to hear the songs performed, particularly
by Paul and Ringo themselves. Yes, they are beyond human. They are in touch
with the Divine. This is clear from their performance last night.
