Beatles 2014

I watched the Beatles concert last night. Totally amazing. Paul and Ringo still have it. Including "You say it’s your Birthday",  "Sgt. Pepper", and "I Saw Her Standing There" all of which are very hard core rock and roll! Paul McCartney rocked hard, gave the screams, and hit the high notes...just as if we was still 20!

Ringo leading the crowd in "Yellow Submarine", everyone feeling like a kid. The guy in front making submarine sounds. And of course audience interaction with "Hey Jude" and "Help with my Friends".

It really was watching the Beatles in concert. Today in 2014. Paul chose very hard core rock songs to perform, and he delivered!! Paul and Ringo both gave us exactly as they were on the albums, exactly as they would have done in 1967.

Some of the tributes were really good as well, particularly Joe Walsh doing "While my Guitar Gently Weeps". Annie Lennox did an incredible job with "Fool on the Hill", as if that were HER song...

Great musical experience all around.

For me it was quite a soulful experience to hear the songs performed, particularly by Paul and Ringo themselves. Yes, they are beyond human. They are in touch with the Divine. This is clear from their performance last night.
