McCartney’s Angel Visitation

Paul McCartney was visited by an Angel. I only heard this story once, and it was in his own words. This means that everything I tell you below is from Paul McCartney himself speaking during the interview.

I will summarize the story. Yet the entire story was told by Paul McCartney.

In 1971 his wife Linda was in the hospital giving birth to their child. However, Linda’s health was very bad. For several days she wasn’t doing well at all. She might not recover. Of course Paul McCartney was concerned.

One night Paul got an image of an Angel in his head. In addition, the next day Linda started to recover.  After several days of her health being so bad, she had an immediate turnaround. After a few days, Linda fully recovered.

(I believe that Paul was actually visited by an Angel. And I think Linda was visited too, in particular by a healing Angel).

So the day after Paul McCartney got the image of the Angel in his head, his wife started to recover. Linda recovered fully, and all was well. Yes, a real Angel came to him and his wife.

Now for one of the best parts of the story: a few months later, Paul McCartney created a new band. Among other details, he needed a good name for his band.

He remembered the image he had of an Angel, the image that came to him during that time Linda was in the hospital.

Therefore, he decided to name the new band…“Wings”.
