of The Secret Doctrine of Madame Blavatsky

Overview
I have been reading much of Madame
Blavatsky’s works. I read “Isis Unveiled”. And now I have been reading much of “The
Secret Doctrine”.
Here are some main thoughts I have while
reading these books, particularly “The Secret Doctrine”.
In brief: I have no idea why these books
are popular. They read as if written by a 7th grade student. They
explain nothing, and are very disorganized.
She
does NOT have any “Secret Doctrine”
First, let us look at the title. You
would think from the title that you would be taught some great information, the
great secrets… “The Secret Doctrine”. Yet this is not the case.
She has no secret doctrine. There is no
doctrine.
In fact, my writings and videos offer
you much more about the truths of the metaphysical world than she ever did.
Also, the book is not about any Truth of
the Metaphysical Worlds. Not at all. Instead, the book really is about the
origins of the universe, and the creation of man. Not what I would call a
Secret Doctrine.
A more accurate title for the book
should be: “The origin of the universe and the creation of man, as understood
by the ancient spiritualists.”
THAT is what the title should be,
because that is what the book is really about. She is writing on the origin of
the universe and the creation of man.
She says nothing about spiritual beings,
spiritual realms, psychic connections, or any other truths. She does not offer
any explanations of how things work, the beings that are out there, or how we
humans can use this information in our lives. If you want to know those things,
then read my books and come to my presentations. I can give you the REAL SECRETS.
She
uses Strange Terms, but NEVER DEFINES THEM
Throughout the book she uses many
strange terms. She seems to love these unusual terms. She creates words, names,
phrases that have no common understanding. Completely new phrases.
And yet…she never defines these. She
never explains them. That is the worst aspect of her entire writing.
She throws out terms that have no
meaning, and continues to talk about them as all of us know exactly what she is
talking about. Yet she never defines, never explains, and never gives examples
of her bizarre terms.
This makes her entire book garbage. It
is worthless.
We read page after page after page using
these bizarre terms. Yet without any understanding of what she is trying to
say. Because she never explains these.
Actually, I think that she herself might
not know what she is trying to say. She herself may have no real concept of
what she is writing about. She is unclear in her understanding, and therefore
she is very unclear in her writing.
In this she reminds me of many
physicists who are guilty of the same thing. There are many physicists who use
odd terms, such as “singularity”, “black hole”, “negative pressure”, and “negative
gravity”. The term “Singularity” has many meanings, yet writers rarely specify
which they mean. “Black hole” is a physical impossibility. Then “negative
pressure” and “negative gravity” are ridiculous, because better terms would be
something like “motion” or “internal energy”. And these are just a few
examples.
The bizarre terms which Blavatsky uses
are similar in that regard. They are devoid of physical meaning, and likely
have no basis in physical reality. Yet most of all….she never defines,
explains, or gives examples of these terms. And if you can’t do that, then you
are not able to teach anything.
In fact, if you can’t clearly define or
explain your phrase, then very likely there is no reality to the phrase at all.
It does not exist.
I found this phenomenon with the recent
popular word “scalar energy”. After much searching, I learned that nobody could
define it, or give an example. Which leads to the conclusion that such a thing
does not exist.
That is where I am with the bizarre
terms used by Madame Blavatsky in her books. She never defines, never explains,
and never gives examples. This means she has no real understanding herself of
what these terms mean. And further, it is very likely that these terms don’t
exist; that is, there is no physical reality behind these terms.
She
has NO PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Madame Blavatsky has no personal
experience. She merely compiles the writings of others. This is very
significant.
Blavatsky herself says so, several times…including
the beginning pages of “The Secret Doctrine”. She said she never had any
personal revelations regarding what she has written.
Now, of course I will applaud any person
who has done diligent research. I will applaud anyone who has collected the
primary experiences of others into a cohesive report of the topic.
However, her writing is not clear. There
is nothing cohesive. And furthermore, none of this comes from her own personal
experiences.
Let me be very clear on this: I have had
numerous spiritual experiences. I have had more than most people of the earth,
now or in history. I have seen things, been places, visited by beings, which
very few humans ever have. I know much…very much. That is why I will be writing
my own version of a Secret Doctrine in the near future.
In contrast, Blavatsky has not had any
of these experiences. And certainly not the rare experiences I have been
privileged to have.
Therefore I am highly qualified to judge
what seems like reality, and what seems like fiction, in her books.
There are a few portions of her book
which she talks about things being not true, which I know for a fact are true.
(Based on personal experience).
Of course most of her book is on topics
which is not my area of research or experience (the origin of the universe and the
stages of man). Therefore, much of her book I cannot judge whether true or not.
But because she is basing the information on the experiences of others, and not
her own, then every statement can be considered equally true or equally false.
Some
Truths, yet Only Brief Glimmers
There are however some portions of the writing
which hint at the truth. The ancients did not quite understand, and her writing
portrays their views, in their ways of thinking. Yet I can see a few glimmers
of truths in there.
I will not say what those are here. But
I will say I wish she would have expanded on some of those other truths.
What
I can Tell You about Her Book
After reading through her book “The
Secret Doctrine”, I can summarize a few concepts for you.
Yes, it is written as term-paper from a
7th grader. It is incoherent, she doesn’t understand much of what
she is saying, and never explains her main terms…then uses those terms
frequently….
But in all that, we can pick up a few
things. Here are the basic concepts, a summary of her main ideas:
1. In the beginning there was nothing.
It was dark.
2. Then something happened. (Descriptions
which are similar to the Big Bang Theory). This is when the Universe was “Chaos”.
3. Out of the “Chaos” came various
Energies and Ethers. These evolved into beings.
4. Different beings were formed from the
Chaos Ethers at different times. This gives us different spiritual beings, and
different life forms on planets.
5. There is no one God above all. Nor is
there one Devil. (Her opinion). There is merely a collection of energies, which
manifests themselves in different ways, in different beings, at different
times.
6. Note at this point, she is very
unclear. This is where we get her bizarre terms, which she does not explain.
Most of the book deals with this in between stuff, which she can’t explain,
except for throwing around strange terms which she herself doesn’t understand.
7. Eventually humans were formed.
8. There are several stages of humans.
She said we would soon be reaching the next stage of humans.
*This I do believe is true. I have been
told my purpose is to help humanity evolve. And there are others who are here
on similar missions. As a group, we are evolved beings, sent here on missions,
to bring humanity to the next stage of their evolution*
This is essentially the summary of her
book “The Secret Doctrine”
Summary
of “Isis Unveiled”
Note that her book “Isis Unveiled” can
be summarized even shorter. My summary is this:
“All ancient spiritual traditions and
religions have some truth. Find the true parts, and there is a reality which
exists. Many of the inner circle of the elite have been taught the deepest
truest realities, while presenting the rest as vague ideas and partial truths
to the people. Those truths are the Secret Doctrine. And what is the Secret
Doctrine? I can’t tell you, because I don’t know. But I do know that those who
knew the secrets had to be fully prepared for the truths, capable of understanding
the truths, and, in many cases, threatened by the group from teaching the
truths to others.”
That is the essential summary of “Isis
Unveiled”.
Abridged
vs Unabridged Versions
There is one final possibility, that
Madame Blavatsky explains more in her full unabridged version.
I have the Abridged Version of The
Secret Doctrine. Yet it is no small book, the abridged version is 250 pages.
Yet this is an Abridged Version, which seems to be the version that is most
available.
The person who abridged this book did
make reference to other material which he cut out of the original. He said
these items were not necessary to understand her work. Yet from what I have
read, her work is really not possible to understand.
Thus, there remains the possibility that
some of the original which was chopped out may explain more, and make her work
more intelligible.
I open to that possibility.
But for now, with this book…it is a
difficult read, without explaining much.
